The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to head next after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can look forward to finding out which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
